STORY

Nitrous Coffee Bar was founded in 2020 by Caleb Rastovich, who, at just 18, opened a small coffee shop in Mount Maunganui. The business quickly grew, and in August 2021, we moved to a larger location, where Nitrous is proudly based today. Caleb’s passion for coffee and attention to detail have been key to the brand's growth.

From the start, we've focused on delivering exceptional customer service and expertly crafted coffee. One of our main goals has always been to offer our own premium coffee roast, and we're excited to share it with you.

Our coffee beans are sourced from top coffee-growing regions worldwide, with a focus on quality, sustainability, and ethical sourcing. Once the beans arrive, they are roasted in small batches to bring out their best flavors and aromas. We’re committed to ensuring every bag of coffee meets the highest standards, so you can enjoy a rich, balanced cup every time, whether at our coffee bar or in your own home.

At Nitrous, we take pride in delivering high-quality, consistent coffee in every bag. Our beans are hand-roasted and packaged to give you a premium experience, whether you're at home or at work. We ethically and sustainably source our coffee from around the world. Grown at various altitudes and climates, and roasted in-house at up to 230°C, our beans are carefully crafted for a rich, consistent flavor every time.
